48 cars of the B-80 type (30m long) were delivered by Siemens (in collaboration with the local company Tüvasas). Siemens TS was responsible for the supply of signalling automation systems and the power supply system.

Later the fleet was enlarged with 30 FLEXITY Swift light rail cars (similar to the U5s in Frankfurt/Main) from Bombardier, Furthermore Burulaş bought 44 second-hand 'Sneltram' Düwag SG2 (Duewag T-cars) from Rotterdam, of which 25 of them to come into use while the other 19 are used as spare parts.

All vehicles are fully air-conditioned, On line 1 only units of three- car trains are used, while the four- car trains can use on the less congested line 2. The track gauge is like all Turkish subway systems (such as in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Adana) in the entire network standard gauge of 1435 mm. The platforms are 120 meters long and usually run from the middle platform.
