The Burnett Transit Center was built and opened as part of the North/Red Line Extension on December 21, 2013. The station is elevated, and has a storage track to the right (looking North) of the main platform, and the storage track has a platform for itself. The station connects vertically with 6 bus bays below, a "Kiss and Ride", and is intended to be a pedestrian/cyclist friendly place.
