Burnage railway station is a suburban railway station to the south of Manchester, England. It is located in the suburb of Burnage on the Styal Line, which serves the Manchester – Crewe rail route used by Northern Rail for stopping services to Manchester Airport. It caters mainly for commuter traffic, being electrified at 25kV AC overhead, and is used by EMU traffic.
Services are approximately every half hour in each direction on Mondays to Saturdays. Some evening services are operated by First TransPennine Express with DMUs. The Sundays frequency is hourly.
