The Burlington County Times is a daily newspaper located in Willingboro Township, New Jersey, U.S. The Times is owned by Calkins Media.

With offices in Willingboro, Medford and Mount Holly Township, New Jersey, the paper covers municipal, county and state-wide issues as well as local and professional sporting events.

Coverage

The paper publishes weekly special sections, including "What's Happening", a guide to local entertainment; "All About U", a women's news section; and "To Do", a broader entertainment guide with movie reviews and more.

The Times shares a Website, phillyBurbs.com, with two Calkins newspapers in Pennsylvania, Bucks County Courier Times and The Intelligencer. In 2007 the paper launched its own section of the site, phillyBurbs.com/BCT, which features daily news stories, editorial content, obituaries, photographs, videos, and a community calendar. The Times also has a breaking news site.[2]

History

The paper was founded in 1958 at the urging of builder William Levitt. S.W. Calkins, who already owned the Bucks County paper, started a Levittown Times in now Willingboro, New Jersey, with offices on U.S. Route 130. The paper is printed in Falls Township PA along with the Bucks County Courier Times and the Intelligencer.

The New Jersey operation was relocated to Willingboro and renamed the Burlington County Times.

The Times prices are: $0.75 Daily, $1.50 Sunday.
