Bupyeong Station is a subway station located in Bupyeong-gu, which is a district in Incheon, South Korea. This station is on the Seoul Subway Line 1 and Incheon Subway Line 1. It is one of the most crowded stations on the Incheon line because of its central location and its connection to the Seoul line.

Entrance

  • Exit 1: Bupyeong 6-dong Office, Yerim School, Bupyeong Catholic Medical Center
  • Exit 2: Bupyeongnam Elementary School, Buil Girls' Middle School, Bupyeong 2-dong Office
  • Exit 3: Police branch office at Bupyeong Station

Underground market

This area has lots of shops selling several goods from clothes to books which are a lot cheaper than those in normal bookstores. Actually, it was the best trading area including normal shops around the station. Fashion street and several malls have played a big role in attracting the public.[2]

Passengers

According to the data, there is a rapid reduction of using passengers. It is believed to cause those situations after operation of metropolitan buses system.
