Bupleurum is a very large genus of plants of the Apiaceae family, represented by 185 to 195 species.

- Bupleurum aureum Fisch. ex Hoffm. (also called Bupleurum longifolium fo. normale (Fisch. ex Hoffm.) H. Wolff or Bupleurum longifolium var. aureum (Fisch. ex Hoffm.) H. Wolff,[1] known in Russia as the herbal remedy Володушка (Volodushka) and in China as 金黄柴胡 (jin huang chai hu)[2]
