Bulgarian Euro-Left

The Bulgarian Euro-Left (Bulgarian: Bulgarska Evrolevista, BEL) was a pro-Western social-democratic[1] political party in Bulgaria. The party was established on 22 February 1997 in Sofia.[2] The party was formed from a split from the Bulgarian Socialist Party.[3] The BEL was admitted into the Socialist International as an observer member in 1999.[4]
