Bukownica [bukɔvˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tereszpol, within Biłgoraj County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Tereszpol, 8 km (5 mi) east of Biłgoraj, and 79 km (49 mi) south of the regional capital Lublin.
The village has a population of 198.
