Bukowina [bukɔˈvina] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Trzebiel, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Trzebiel, 26 km (16 mi) west of Żary, and 62 km (39 mi) south-west of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 50.
