Bukowica [bukɔˈvit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Niegosławice, within Żagań County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 32 kilometres (20 mi) east of Żagań and 37 km (23 mi) south-east of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 140.
