Bukowa [buˈkɔva] (previously German Wendisch Buckow, 1938-45: Buchenstein) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Smołdzino, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Smołdzino, 17 km (11 mi) north-east of Słupsk, and 100 km (62 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1648 the area was part of Duchy of Pomerania, 1648-1945 Prussia and Germany.[2][3] For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
The village has a population of 60.
