Bukan County (Persian: شهرستان بوکان) is a county in West Azerbaijan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Bukan. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 202,637, in 42,313 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Simmineh District. The county has two cities: Bukan and Simmineh.
