Building estimator
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A building estimator is an individual that quantifies the materials, labor, and equipment needed to complete a construction project. Building estimating can concern diverse forms of construction from residential properties to hi-rise and civil works. Quantity surveyors differ from building estimators in that their main purpose is to quantify the materials required for the project. Typically, a Quantity surveyor is an entry level position in the estimating field. See cost estimate for more complete coverage.
