Buczek [ˈbut͡ʂɛk] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szprotawa, within Żagań County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) south-east of Szprotawa, 26 km (16 mi) south-east of Żagań, and 54 km (34 mi) south of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
