Brzezina [bʐɛˈʑina] (German Briesen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skarbimierz, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Skarbimierz, 5 km (3 mi) west of Brzeg, and 44 km (27 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
