Brusimpiano is a comune (municipality) on Lake Lugano in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 km northwest of Milan and about 15 km north of Varese, on the border with Switzerland. As of 31 December 2004, it has a population of 1,121 and an area of 5.9 km².[1]
Brusimpiano borders the following municipalities: Barbengo (Switzerland), Caslano (Switzerland), Cuasso al Monte, Lavena Ponte Tresa, Marzio, Morcote (Switzerland), Porto Ceresio.
