Bruno Fornaroli Mezza (born 7 September 1987 in Salto) is a Uruguayan footballer currently playing for Danubio F.C. in the Uruguayan Primera División as a forward. He is also nicknamed El Tuna.

Career

On July 2007, Fornaroli – who has Italian ancestry – was moved to Italian Serie A team Sampdoria from Nacional in which he started career as a professional footballer. He acquired an Italian passport in 2008, making it easier to sign with clubs based in the European Union.[1]

On August 2009, he was loaned to Recreativo Huelva.[2]

In January 2011, Fornaroli was loaned back to Nacional, returning in August 2011 to Sampdoria following their relegation.

On 21 July 2012, Fornaroli signed[3] a 3 years contract with Panathinaikos F.C. after Jesualdo Ferreira requested to have him in his team.

On 2 September 2013, he terminated his contract with Panathinaikos.[4]
