Bruchem is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Zaltbommel, and lies about 11 km north of 's-Hertogenbosch.
Bruchem was a separate municipality, which was renamed in 1818, to "Kerkwijk".[1]
In 2001, the village of Bruchem had 920 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.25 km², and contained 332 residences.[2] The statistical area "Bruchem", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1350.[3]
