Bruce Alcock

Bruce Alcock, born and raised in Newfoundland, Alcock has worked internationally as a creative director for the past 20 years. He has pursued innovation at every stage, starting with handmade experimental animation applied to on-air promotions for MuchMusic. He founded Global Mechanic, an animation studio, in Vancouver, B.C. in 2000 and is currently the studio's creative director.[1]

Alcock has directed hundreds of commercials, several award-winning short films (the most recent being Vive la Rose[2] and has worked on many projects for television,[3] film and the web.

He also designed the font Soupbone, distributed by FontShop International.[4]
