Bronagh Waugh (born 6 October 1982) is a Northern Irish actress best known for playing the character of Cheryl Brady in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks[1] as well as appearing on T4 On The Beach as herself. She has also appeared as an extra for Doctor Who. At the 2010 British Soap Awards, Waugh was nominated for the best newcomer award, best actress award and best comedy performance award.[2]
Bronagh’s first acting role was in the Thai soap Khrop Khrua Angrit. She has also presented on MTV Asia and appeared in Miss Conception alongside Heather Graham.
Bronagh was brought up by her single mother and did not meet her dad until she was 23 as he lived in Canada.
