Briony Scott

Briony Scott is the Principal of Wenona School, located in North Sydney.[1]

Briony Scott is the daughter of Dr Carl Edmonds OAM and his wife Cindy (Cynthia). She was born in the UK when Dr Edmonds was working there. Dr Edmonds was the Officer in Charge, Royal Australian Navy School of Underwater Medicine and is considered to be the world's premier diving medical expert. He is also lead author of the diving medicine "bible", Diving Medicine for Scuba Divers.

She is well known for her fortnightly column in the North Shore Times[2] entitled " Ask the Teacher"[3] where she looks at issues regarding parenting and education. Dr Scott was the Principal of Roseville College from 2006 but took over the role of Principal of Wenona College in July 2011.

She is married to Mark Scott, Managing Director of the ABC. She previously worked as Head of Senior School at Oxford Falls Grammar School.[4]
