Brigid Keenan

Brigid Keenan (born 1939[1]) is an author and journalist. She has worked as an editor on Nova magazine, The Observer and The Sunday Times. On marriage to a diplomat she re-orientated her career into writing books and, whilst travelling the world with her husband, has published two fashion histories as well as Travels in Kashmir (1989), Damascus: Hidden Treasures of the Old City (2001), [2] and the best selling Diplomatic Baggage (2005).,.[3][4] Keenan has lived and travelled in many countries in the Arab world and in Asia.

She is a founding board member of the Palestine Festival of Literature.
