Brightside (formerly, Brightside Station) is an unincorporated community in Alameda County, California. It is located 2.25 miles (3.6 km) west of Sunol,[2] at an elevation of 207 feet (63 m). At the turn of the 20th century a vacation/resort area and previously a gravel quarry, it is now the site of the train yard belonging to Niles Canyon Railway.
