Bright Best is Bright's first "best of" album and fifth overall. It is also their last album, as they announced in April 2013 that they would disband after their last one-man show on May 12, 2013. The album features all of Bright's best singles, with three new songs; "Forever", "Hakanakute", and "Dear My Friend". The song "Dear My Friend" was written by group leader NAGI, making it the second song to be written by a member of the group; the first being "Still..." which was written by MEG. The music video for "Kotoba Ni Dekinakute" was included on the DVD, but the song itself was not included on the CD.
