Bridlewood Mall is a shopping centre that is located in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada at 2900 Warden Avenue.
History
It is likely that the mall opened in the mid-1970s. It began with four big-box store anchors: Towers,[1] Kmart, Food City, and A&P Canada. Towers was bought by Zellers in 1990 and the store was closed in 1991. Zellers opened in the former Towers space.
Kmart was also bought by Zellers as well. In 1998 Zellers was opened in the former Kmart. The Towers/Zellers space was turned into a Home Hardware and a Shoppers Drug Mart. Sobeys Inc. bought the Oshawa Food Group, and Food City was converted to Price Chopper.
Metro Inc. bought A&P Canada, and the A&P store was converted into the Metro store.
Zellers went on liquidation on December 26, 2012.
