Bridget Turner

Bridget Turner (born 22 February 1939, Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire) is an English actress.

She has worked with a number of actors including Peter O'Toole, Elizabeth Taylor, Kirk Douglas, Bernard Blier, Trevor Howard, Bernadette Lafont, Richard Burton and Christina Ricci.

On 8 May 2009 John Cleese stated in an interview that Bridget was originally offered the part of Sybil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers back in 1974. She turned it down and the role was given to Prunella Scales.^[1]
