Bridge of Don is a suburb in the north of Aberdeen, Scotland. It has a population of 22,423 [1] making it one of the largest suburbs in Europe.[2]

Bridge of Don is split into four areas for statistical purposes by Aberdeen City Council and Police Scotland: Balgownie and Donmouth, Danestone, Denmore and Oldmachar. Traditionally Bridge of Don has been split up into: Bridge of Don, Danestone, Denmore and Middleton Park. These areas have smaller areas within them.

Schools

The secondary schools within the suburb are: Bridge of Don Academy and Oldmachar Academy.

There are also seven primary schools: Braehead, Danestone, Forehill, Glashieburn, Greenbrae, Middleton Park and Scotstown.
