Briceland is an unincorporated community in Humboldt County, California.[1] It is located 6 miles (10 km) west of Redway,[2] at an elevation of 594 feet (181 m).[1]

A post office operated at Briceland from 1889 to 1968.[2] The name honors John C. Briceland, who purchased the site in 1889.[2]

Briceland is also the home of Briceland Vineyards Winery. Founded in 1985 by Joe Collins and Maggie Carey, the winery is credited with establishing wine production from Southern Humboldt grapes.
