Brian Ebo Saah (born 16 December 1986) is an English footballer who plays for Dagenham & Redbridge as a defender.

Club career

Despite starting as a central midfielder, Saah was converted to a central defender and won praise for his displays deputising for first team regulars John Mackie and Gabriel Zakuani during the 2005–06 season.

Saah had agreed to extend his Leyton Orient contract until the summer of 2009, but was released at the end of his contract.[1] Following his release, he spent time at Southend United[2] and Tranmere Rovers on trial.

Following a home defeat to Crawley Town, Cambridge boss Martin Ling announced he would sign a new defender. On 20 August, Saah was signed on a free transfer until the end of the season and appointed club captain.[3]

In May 2010, Saah was selected for the England C squad to play in the opening International Challenge Trophy game with the Republic of Ireland.[4] Later that month Saah signed a two-year extension with Cambridge United to keep him at the club until July 2012.[5]

On 1 July 2011, Saah signed with League Two side Torquay United, reuniting him with previous manager Martin Ling.[6]

Following the 2012/13 season, Saah rejected a new contract with Torquay.

On 21 July 2013, he signed for League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge on a two-year contract for a free transfer.[7]

International career

Saah played for England C in a 2–2 draw with the Wales Semi-Pro team on 14 September 2010.[8]
