Brian Moss

Brian Moss is a Singer/Songwriter from The Bay Area (San Francisco) who later moved to Chicago and back again. Brian Moss has played in many bands, encompassing genres such as hardcore, punk, and neo-folk.

Brian Moss has played in the following bands:

  • Wunder Years[1] - a punk band who had one 7", one full length entitled Pitstops on the Road Less Traveled, one split CD with Sorry About the Fire, and one EP entitled Function Over Fashion. Record labels: Tomato Head and Springman/Silver Sprocket.
  • Trust Foundation - a two-man project with one rare self-titled EP. Record label: Tomato Head.
  • The Ghost[2] - a Chicago by-way-of Oakland-based post-hardcore/punk band who released 2 full lengths, This is a Hospital and This Pen is a Weapon, and one split 10" with The Prosperity Wallet. Record labels: Some, Grey Flight, and Solidarity (reissues).
  • Hanalei[3] - An indie/folk band and predominantly Moss' solo project. one EP, 3 full lengths entitled We Are All Natural Disasters, Parts and Accessories, and One Big Night, and three 7"s. Record labels: Thick, Mission Social Club, Jump Start, Solidarity, and Brick Gun.
  • Olehole - a punk/hardcore band based out of Oakland and San Francisco, CA with members of Quest for Quintanaroo, Burial Year, and Dead to Me. One full length entitled Holemole and two 7"s. Record labels: Underground Communique and Brick Gun.
  • Great Apes - a punk band based out of San Francisco, CA with members of Monster Squad, Olehole, Burial Year, and Drowning With Our Anchors. 3 7"s and one full length, Thread. Record labels: Asian Man, Side With Us, Mission Social Club, and Say-10.
