Brett Ryan Eldredge[5][6] (born March 23, 1986) is an American country music singer signed to Atlantic Records Nashville. In 2013, the single "Don't Ya" hit Number One on the Country Airplay chart. He is the cousin of Terry Eldredge of The Grascals.[4]
Musical career
Eldredge released his debut single, "Raymond", on September 27, 2010. It debuted at number 52 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart dated for the week ending October 16, 2010[7] and reached a peak of number 23. "It Ain't Gotta Be Love" was released as his second single and reached number 46. A third single, "Don't Ya", was released to country radio in October 2012; it became his first single to reach the Top 20 of the Hot Country Songs chart and his first to appear on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album, Bring You Back, was released on August 6, 2013.[8] "Don't Ya" reached Number One on the Country Airplay chart the same month.
Eldredge co-wrote the track "I Think I've Had Enough" for Gary Allan, who recorded it for his album Get Off on the Pain.[9]
Eldredge performed on the Grand Ole Opry for the first time on October 29, 2010.[10]
Eldredge has a web series on his official YouTube page called Couch Sessions, where he does acoustic performances of his songs as well as covers.[11]
He was one of the opening acts on Taylor Swift's Red Tour
