Location of Prešov District in the Prešov Region.

Brestov (Hungarian: Boroszló) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia. In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1229.It lies at an altitude of 321 metres and covers an area of 10.369 km². It has a population of about 455 people.[citation needed]
