Brent Redstone is an American entrepreneur. He is the son of Sumner Redstone, brother of Shari Redstone, and grandson of Michael Redstone. Brent sued National Amusements, his sister, and his father in 2006. He later dropped the lawsuit after an undisclosed settlement was reached which reportedly included the buyout of Brent's one-sixth stake in National Amusements.[1] Currently, Shari Redstone owns 20% of National Amusements while Sumner Redstone owns the other 80%.[2]National Amusements, holds a controlling stake in CBS Corporation, Viacom, MTV Networks, BET, and the film studio Paramount Pictures, and are equal partners in MovieTickets.com.
