Brendon O'Connor (born (1989-09-11)11 September 1989) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer who plays as flanker. O’Connor grew up in Hawkes Bay and attended Gisborne Boys' High School. He currently plays for Blues in Super Rugby, having previously played for the Crusaders in 2012.

Career

O'Connor won the 2009 IRB Junior World Championship with New Zealand Under 20.[1] In 2012 O'Connor was a member of the Crusaders Wider Training Group and made two competition appearances that season. He was signed for the Blues for the 2013 season.[2][3] He also plays for the Hawkes Bay Magpies in the ITM Cup.
