Brendan Leipsic (born May 19, 1994) is a Canadian ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Portland Winterhawks in the Western Hockey League (WHL). Leipsic was selected by the Nashville Predators in the 3rd round (89th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Leipsic has played in the WHL since the 2010–11 season. In his 2012–13 season with the Portland Winterhawks, Leipsic scored 120 points in 68 games to win the CHL Top Scorer Award as the highest-scoring player in the Canadian Hockey League.[1]
On May 23, 2013, the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL) signed Leipsic to a three-year entry-level contract.[2]
