Brenda Epperson is an American actress and singer. She attended high school in Dallas, Oregon.

Biography

Epperson is perhaps best known for being the second actress to portray the character of Ashley Abbott on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless. Her father, Don Epperson, was both a country singer and a co-star of Big Jake with John Wayne. After his sudden death in 1973, Brenda's mother, Sherry, was left to raise two daughters.

She has toured Europe as the opening act for Lionel Richie.[citation needed] Epperson started a children's choir for H.U.P. (Hollywood Urban Project, a church based organization) an inner city choir that reaches out to the children through music and shows them the "strength and power of God's love" and the children's own self-worth.[citation needed]

She attended Southern California College where she sang and studied with an emphasis on getting to Hollywood.[citation needed] Brenda Epperson went to Dallas High School, in Dallas, Oregon.

Currently, Epperson is a host on the UStream show, Actors-E Chat, where she interviews other celebrities, live. She is coordinating the Ascend Conference for women. The first one will be in Los Angeles in October, 2013, in front of 800,000 people. She will also be hosting the Cantinas Music Festival.

Brenda Epperson has recently shot a pilot and the series is being considered for prime time television. In March, 2013, she released a 3 song EP entitled, "Take Time," on her own label and it is available worldwide on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and CDBaby.

In November 2013, Epperson joined Idle Tuesdays Recording Studio's Board of Directors, a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California.[1]
