Brembate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 35 km northeast of Milan and about 14 km southwest of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2010, it had a population of 8,234 and an area of 5.5 km².[1]

The municipality of Brembate contains the frazione (subdivision) Grignano.

Brembate borders the following municipalities: Boltiere, Canonica d'Adda, Capriate San Gervasio, Filago, Osio Sotto, Pontirolo Nuovo.
