Breg pri Litiji (German: Rann)[2] is a settlement on the right bank of the Sava River in the Municipality of Litija in central Slovenia. Traditionally the area was part of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Sava Statistical Region; until January 2014 the municipality was part of the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.[3]

Name

The name of the settlement was changed from Breg to Breg pri Litiji in 1953.[4] In the 19th century the German name was Rann.[2]

Church

The local church is dedicated to Saint Catherine and belongs to the Parish of Litija. It was a 16th-century Gothic building that was restyled in the Baroque in the 18th century.[5]
