Brearton is a village and civil parish in the Harrogate borough of North Yorkshire, England, situated about 4 miles north of Knaresborough. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 141. This small village has about 47 houses that are situated quite close together while cow and sheep fields surround it. Its remote location gives the people of Brearton privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Breaton's proximity to Knaresborough and Harrogate makes getting out easy.
