Brave is the original soundtrack of the film of the same name composed by Patrick Doyle and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. The soundtrack also features two original songs performed by Scottish Gaelic singer Julie Fowlis and written by Alex Mandel, and one original song performed by Birdy and Mumford & Sons.[1] Walt Disney Records released the soundtrack on both CD album and digital download on June 19, 2012.[2]

For the Spanish soundtrack, Indie-folk singer Russian Red performed the Spanish version of "Touch the Sky" (Volaré) and "Into the Open Air" (A la luz del sol).[3] The Italian versions of "Touch the Sky" (Il Cielo Toccherò) and "Into the Open Air" (Tra Vento e Aria) are performed by the soul-blues singer Noemi.

"Tha Mo Ghaol Air Àird A' Chuain", a Scottish Gaelic song from Julie Fowlis' album Mar a tha mo chridhe features in official trailers for the film, but do not feature on the soundtrack.
