Brady Piñero Walkinshaw is an American politician, who was selected in December 2013 to serve in the Washington House of Representatives representing the 43rd legislative district in downtown Seattle.[1]
A Democrat, his appointment was a result of state senator Ed Murray's election as Mayor of Seattle in the 2013 mayoral election.[1] He succeeded Jamie Pedersen in the House of Representatives, while Pedersen moved to the Senate to take Murray's seat.[1]
Walkinshaw is of Cuban American descent, and is openly gay.[2] Walkinshaw is a program officer with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
