Brad Murray (born 16 March 1990) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Western Suburbs Rosellas of the Newcastle Rugby League. He previously played for the Sydney Roosters and Parramatta Eels. His primarily plays halfback.

Playing career

Born in Scone, New South Wales, Murray played his junior football for the Scone Thoroughbreds. He attended St Gregory's College Campbelltown for his secondary schooling playing in the first-grade side before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He later joined the Sydney Roosters and played for their Toyota Cup team from 2008 to 2010.[1] He was named in the 2010 National Youth Competition team of the year. In August 2010, Murray signed a 2-year contract with the Parramatta Eels.[2] In 2011, Murray came under investigation for match-fixing and admitted that he lied to police in a statement regarding the matter.[3] He was released from his contract and signed with the Western Suburbs Rosellas in the Newcastle Rugby League.[4] In 2013, he is signed with the Wyong Roos in the NSW Cup and is named for their round 1 clash with the Newcastle Knights.
