Brachystachyum densiflorum, short-spiked bamboo, short-tassled bamboo, short spikelet bamboo is a species of bamboos, of the monotypic genus Brachystachyum. The genus names was formed from Greek and means "short-spiked".
Taxonomy
The species has one variety, Brachystachyum densiflorum var. villosum, referred to as hairy-sheathed short-spiked bamboo in English. The species is sometimes included in Semiarundinaria.
