Brûlé is a hamlet in west-central Alberta, Canada within Yellowhead County.[2] It is located on the northwest shore of Brûlé Lake, approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Hinton. It has an elevation of 1,040 metres (3,410 ft).

Statistics Canada recognizes Brûlé as a designated place.[3]

The hamlet is located in census division No. 14 and in the federal riding of Yellowhead.

Demographics

As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Brule had a population of 76 living in 31 of its 38 total dwellings, a 0% change from its 2006 population of 0. With a land area of 0.35 km2 (0.14 sq mi), it had a population density of 217/km2 (562/sq mi) in 2011.[1]

In the 2006 Census, Brûlé had a total population of 165 living in 64 dwellings. With a land area of 0.35 km2 (0.14 sq mi), it had a population density of 471.2 /km2 (1,220 /sq mi).[3]
