Boyd Franklin "Cotton" Converse (February 18, 1932 – May 31, 2010) was the 27th head college football coach for the Wichita State University Shockers located in Wichita, Kansas and he held that position for the 1967 season. His overall coaching record at Wichita State was 2 wins, 7 losses, and 1 ties. This ranks him 28th at Wichita State in terms of total wins and 27th at Wichita State in terms of winning percentage.[1]
He died in 2010 after a long illness.[2][3][4]
