Boris Ackers (born 28 October 1982) is a German ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for the Löwen Frankfurt of the Oberliga.

Playing career

He began his career with his hometown team the Krefeld Pinguine playing 11 games during the 1999-2000 season. His other DEL experience prior to joining the Lions was with the Essen Mosquitoes during the 2001-02 season where he played 21 games. He joined to the Frankfurt Lions in 2004 from the Dresdner Eislöwen. In the seasons from 2004 to 2008 he played for the Frankfurt Lions and their cooperation-partners Mad Dogs Schweinfurt, Schwenninger Wild Wings, Wölfe Freiburg, EV Landsberg 2000, and the Lausitzer Foxes. In the season 2008/2009 he went to the Netherlands to the Nijmegen Devils. 2009/2010 he came back to Germany to play one season for the Rote Teufel Bad Nauheim in the Deutsche Eishockey Oberliga. 2010/2011 Ackers changed to the EHC Dortmund. Now he plays for the Löwen Frankfurt.
