Borås Tidning is the daily newspaper of Borås, Sweden. It was founded in 1826, has a circulation of about 50,000 copies and is politically conservative ("moderat"). It is owned by Gota Media AB and has Stefan Eklund as chief editor. It had two predecessors, Borås Weckoblad (1826–1833) and Borås Nya Tidning (1834–1838). It was first published as Borås Tidning in 1838.[1]
