Bonifacio is a 4th class municipality in the province of Misamis Occidental, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 30,904 people in 5,875 households.

Bonifacio town was established by Don Demetrio P. Fernan in 1942. He was then the first mayor of Bonifacio.
