Bondeno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ferrara in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 45 km north of Bologna and about 15 km northwest of Ferrara.
Bondeno borders the following municipalities: Cento, Felonica, Ferrara, Ficarolo, Finale Emilia, Mirabello, Mirandola, Sant'Agostino, Sermide, Vigarano Mainarda.
