Boletellus projectellus is a species of fungus in the family Boletaceae. The cap of the fruit body reaches up to 20 cm (7.9 in) in diameter, and features a projecting sterile margin for which the species is named. The spores, with a diameter of 18–33 by 7.5–12 µm, are the largest of any bolete found in North America.[2]
